Jowic Elteknik in Kramfors expands with new facilities and enhanced services

2024-12-17

Jowic Elteknik in Kramfors, a trusted provider of electrical, mechanical and electromechanical services, have taken a significant step forward in 2024 by moving to larger facilities. With expanded space, new resources and a growing team, the company is better equipped than ever to meet customer needs.

A new chapter: rebranding and relocating

Jowic Elteknik in Kramfors, formerly known as Elektromekanisk Industriservice, has been a part of Nordic Drives Group since 2022. During 2024, they have both rebranded and relocated to significantly larger facilities, marking a major milestone in their journey. The upgraded space includes a 350 m2 workshop, custom-designed to support their core services – repair and renovation of electric motors, pumps and gearboxes, both preventive maintenance, rebuilds, overhauls and emergency repairs for critical breakdowns.

– We’ve always offered these services, but the new facilities give us a better environment to do so more efficiently. This space is better suited to our needs, Pär Kvarnberg, CEO at Jowic Elteknik in Kramfors, says.

The new location also enables them to maintain local stock of frequency converters and electric motors. By having critical components available on-site, they can respond faster to customer needs, minimizing downtime and ensuring smoother operations.

Strengthening services with complete solutions

The move not only provides more physical space but also strengthens their ability to support industries with high-quality service. From the initial idea stage to the final commissioning, they offer the opportunity to work closely with customers on tailored solutions. This includes designing control systems, building, installing, and commissioning electrical cabinets. Managing every step in-house ensures seamless execution and results that meet each customer’s specific needs.

In addition to offering hands-on service, Jowic Elteknik in Kramfors have also introduced a digital service protocol system to further enhance their delivery.

– The digital service protocol system allows our customers to access their service history online, making it easier for them to stay updated on their equipment’s condition. Instead of the traditional paper handover, we can now provide a digital log that gives customers direct access to the reports we generate during each service, Pär explains.

By combining both traditional and digital approaches, they make it even easier for customers to stay informed and in control.

A growing team and a promising future

Over the past year, Jowic Elteknik in Kramfors haven’t only rebranded and relocated, they have also expanded their team to 14 employees, adding specialists in key areas to enhance their capabilities. This growth reflects the company’s dedication to meeting the increasing demands of their customers while maintaining their commitment to quality.

While the expansion highlights their independent growth, being part of Nordic Drives Group provides valuable synergies. Access to a larger network and shared expertise strengthens Jowic Elteknik in Kramfors’ position as a trusted service provider.
