Nordic Drives Group acquires Aalestrup Elektro ApS

On April 5th, 2024, Nordic Drives Group, which is part of MVI Fund II, closed yet another acquisition in Denmark. This time Aalestrup Elektro ApS.

Aalestrup Elektro is a well-established company in the electromechanical business and was founded in 1957. The company is a high-quality, full-range provider of service, repairs, products, spare parts, cabinet builds with excellent 24-hour service capabilities that fulfill the customer's need for solutions for demanding tasks. The three electromechanical workshops Aalestrup Elektro comprises are located in Aalestrup, Aars, and Skive with a total of 25 highly skilled employees. Henrik and Lars D. Hansen who are the previous owners have a great reputation in the industry and are very experienced, having successfully run the business for many years, and will continue to do so.

Nordic Drives Group is MVI’s industrial roll-up within the OEM and aftermarket for industrial electric motors and frequency converters and the acquisition of Aalestrup further supports the goal of being the leading partner for motors and drives in Northern Europe.
