Nordic Drives Group acquires Hirtshals El-motorservice ApS
2025-10-22
With a well-equipped electromechanical workshop, Hirtshals El-motorservice specializes in servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and selling a wide range of generators — including marine generators — as well as electric motor rewinding. The company is one of the few in Denmark to operate a large-scale Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) system, capable of handling components up to 2.5 x 3.6 meters. In addition, the company has a strong focus on the maintenance and sales of industrial pumps. Its key customer segments include the maritime, offshore, and wind energy industries.
Hirtshals El-motorservice becomes the fourth aftermarket company to join Nordic Drives Group, further strengthening Nordic Drives Group’s geographical footprint and service capabilities in Denmark.
– Hirtshals El-motorservice is an outstanding company with capabilities that complement our other Danish aftermarket businesses extremely well. We look forward to further developing synergies across the group, says Tom Gustavsson, CEO of Nordic Drives Group.
Flemming Schaltz adds:
– Selling my company has been a long and thoughtful journey. I’m pleased to join Nordic Drives Group — a strong and stable home for the business, with the right vision for continued development. Knowing some of the other companies in the group made the decision much easier.
The transaction was completed on October 22.
